When You know better, you do betteR!
Well, kiddos, it's time to get back into the swing of things. I hope your spring break was amazing! Maybe you'll return tomorrow refreshed and renewed - ready to tackle the last few weeks of school.
Speaking of school (yay!), I'm putting together a mini-unit involving the ties that bind us all. We'll explore some interesting literature, make intense theme connections, review our already-mastered content, and finish out our final few standards. Whew. We have lots of work ahead of us. Can you do it? Will you bring it tomorrow?
As you set your goals for this week, take time to blog. Update your blog space, comment on your peers' writings, and remember to interact with my weekly challenge. This week's challenge came to me while preparing for our next unit. Watch this disturbing news story and read the accompanying article.

Blessed to teach since 1996, I spend my days doing exactly what I've always wanted to do . . . TEACH. I'm married to the sweetest man alive, Tim, and we have two beautiful babies, Marlee Rose and Beau Wilson.
